Like its predecessor, the Limited Edition 5150 Deluxe Ash features a modified Strat-style body with a deeper upper body curve. The ash body is paired with a graphite-reinforced bolt-on quartersawn maple neck that has a comfortable modified C-profile, a hand-rubbed stain finish, and a compound-radius ebony fingerboard with cream inlays.

While the famed striped original had a single humbucking bridge pickup only, the 5150 Deluxe is outfitted with a dual humbucking configuration controlled by a three-way toggle on the upper bout. The custom designed EVH Wolfgang Alnico 2 humbuckers serve up no nonsense, with a lower bout kill switch allowing you to mute your guitar for stuttering, rhythmic effects.
