Fender Custom Shop Limited 1959 Telecaster Journeyman Relic, Aged Dakota Red
At the end of the 1950s, the Telecaster had been established as a powerful and eye-catching workhorse guitar, with all of the force and attitude that carried it through the acts of the early age of Fender. The brilliant recreation of that timeless classic comes in the form of the Custom Shop Limited model Fender 1959 Telecaster Journeyman Relic electric guitar, bringing back the loved feel and sound of the original in all of its glory. It comes in a fiery Aged Dakota Red finish with a Journeyman Relic aging pattern, along with aged nickel/chrome hardware and a matching parchment pickguard.
This guitar was masterfully-built in America from a two-piece ash solidbody, bringing not only a comfortable playing feel to the table, but a resonant and thick tonality that carries the aura of a vintage guitar as well. It has a rift sawn maple neck that's boasting a '60s style oval C-profile, complete with a perfect and easy-to-play AAA rosewood fingerboard on top. The fingerboard has a compound radius and is adorned with twenty-one one narrow tall frets, complete with micarta white inlays.
This Telecaster roars with a vintage voice, thanks to the dual hand-wound '58 Telecaster single-coil neck and bridge pickups, both controlled by the volume and tone control along with a three-way blade switch. Keeping your intonation in check and your tuning as stable as ever is the Custom Shop Tele relic bridge, matching the aged look and vintage feel of the rest of the guitar. The Fender Custom Shop Limited 1959 Telecaster Journeyman Relic is a legendary upgrade from a normal Telecaster — ready for you now at Replay Guitar Exchange!
