Fender Custom Shop Limited 1950 Double Esquire Heavy Relic, Faded Aged Nocaster Blonde
The true precursor to one of the most illustrious guitars of all time, the Custom Shop Limited-model Fender 1950 Double Esquire Heavy Relic holds it's own as a beautiful throwback instrument ready to hit the modern stage with style. Masterfully-built in America, this stunning guitar has a Faded Aged Nocaster Blonde color with a Heavy Relic'd finish, bringing the appearance of an instrument that has rocked under the stage light for decades.
The 1950 Double Esquire is built from a two-piece off-center ash solidbody with a vintage perimeter — there's no wire channel under the Black Nocaster pickguard and it has a relic'd flash lacquer coat for an old-school appearance. The rift-sawn maple neck has a vintage Blackguard profile and a compound radius, as well as a walnut skunk stripe and twenty-one medium vintage frets.
The dual hand-wired '50-'51 Blackguard single-coil pickups rock with an almost ethereal vintage tone, which holds up in any style of music perfectly even in the modern age — controlled by a '51 modified Nocaster wiring set with a master volume and tone control, as well as a three-way toggle switch. The '51-style Tele bridge stabilizes your tone and brings a stellar look to an already stellar guitar. Break the mold and return to the golden age of Fender — the Custom Shop Limited 1950 Double Esquire Heavy Relic is available now at Replay guitar Exchange!
