Gibson Montana J-45 '50s Faded Acoustic/Electric, Faded Sunburst
Nicknamed "The Workhorse" and first introduced in 1942, the J-45 has become an iconic cornerstone of the round-shoulder dreadnought line, as well as Gibson's best-selling acoustic of all time. The Gibson J-45 -50s Faded delivers full-spectrum sound with incredible dynamic range, warm mids and a tight, punchy bass. Masterfully-built in America, it features a Sitka spruce top on a traditional hand-scalloped X-bracing J-45 body, with a mahogany back and sides and multi-ply binding, along with a faded satin nitrocellulose lacquer finish that accentuates the guitar's vintage vibe.
Situated with a compound dovetail joint, this gorgeous acoustic has a rounded-profile mahogany neck that offers superb comfort all along the rosewood fingerboard, complete with twenty medium-sized frets and mother-of-pearl inlays. The Fat '50s pickguard, traditional belly up rosewood bridge and Gotoh white button tuners provide function and feeling, while the modern L.R. Baggs pickup and electronics package gives you perfect studio and stage use. World-renowned for its full, balanced expression, warm bass and excellent projection, the J-45 has been refined to carry this legacy to new heights — available now at Replay Guitar Exchange!
