Masterfully-built in America, this SG Special features a one-piece solid mahogany body with a Ultra Light Aging finish treatment by the skilled artisans of the Murphy Lab, paired with lightly aged hardware that simulates decades of light play-wear. The one-piece mahogany neck boasts an authentic '63 medium C-shape, complete with a cream binding and an Indian rosewood fingerboard adorned with twenty-two authentic medium-jumbo frets and perloid dot inlays.

The roaring Custom Soapbar P-90 pickups installed are both hand-wired, complete with 500K CTS audio-taper potentiometers and Bumblebee capacitors, and shapeable by two volume and two tone controls along with a three-way toggle switch. With a lightning bar wraparound tailpiece and Kluson single line tuners, you will never have to worry about your intonation or tuning slipping out.
