The Paul Reed Smith S2 Standard 22 is a bare-bones workhorse guitar for gigging musicians — toneful enough to stand up plugged straight into an amplifier and solid enough to serve as a great platform for even the most modern pedal board set up. The S2 Standard 22's solid mahogany body and set neck give this guitar a distinctive resonance and powerful sustain, while the Pattern Regular backshape hosts a perfect home to a comfortable rosewood fingerboard that protrudes excellent playability and style.

When the mahogany solidbody's rich, round and warm tone meets the dual 58/15 S humbucking pickups, there are plenty of clear highs and strong mids to be dialed in. The push/pull tone control allows for coil tapping for added versatility, while the PRS patented tremolo bridge offers steady trem-action with stable intonation.
