Based on the McCarty platform with a unique set of features, this guitar roars with striking sound and style — masterfully-built in America and decorated in an elegant Gold Top with beautiful PRS Moon inlays.
The mahogany solidbody plays as perfectly as ever, with a maple top for a rich and bright tonal curve. The matching mahogany neck has a personal DGT carve — resembling a C-shape but with enhanced grip. On top is a silky smooth Honduran rosewood fingerboard, showing off twenty-two jumbo-sized frets.
Grissom and Paul spent a year A/B-ing more than forty sets of pickups before nailing the vintage-voice of the DGT humbuckers installed. When paired with individual volume controls for each pickup and a push/pull master tone control that operates the coil taps, the DGT pickups provide versatility and articulation. It's stabilized with a PRS Patented Gen III tremolo bridge and Phase III tuners with faux-bone buttons for an even more stellar look and tone lock.
