Once a year at the end of August, we host our anniversary sale which is not only a celebration of another birthday for Replay Guitar Exchange, but a huge thank you to all our loyal customers. Instead of doing multiple big sales a year like other big box stores, we opt to have one massive blowout sale! Of course, this means that anticipation is high with some customers waiting eagerly to see what sort of guitar savings they can get. So, in honor of our 8th anniversary, here is what you can expect at one of our anniversary sales and some tips to get the best gear before it is gone!
People wait all year for this event, and we have had people come from all parts of Florida to score big on our anniversary. Every year we have showcased select guitars to be sold at or below cost to build anticipation. For example, this year we have five Gibson Les Paul Standards that are being sold below cost, saving the customer hundreds of dollars! But once those guitars are sold, they are gone. In order to get the best deals, I recommend showing up early before the store opens. There has been a line of people waiting for doors to open every year, and every year the “loss leaders” are the first guitars to go because they have the biggest deals. In previous years, we have sold Gibson and Fender custom shops below cost, as well as other brands like Gretsch, ESP, Charvel, PRS, and more. And not just the mid-tier gear but actual high-end, high-quality guitars at or below cost. Obviously, these are smoking hot deals and people are eager to snag them up. To get the best deals, show up early and await your reward!
During the sale you can also find guitar representatives from different brands that will help answer any questions about guitars and gear. This year we will have reps from ESP, Universal Audio, Boss, and other industry leaders here to ride out the sales event.
Often, there are giveaways and raffles. This year, we will be holding a raffle for a Universal Audio pedal giveaway and more. Everyone will be given a ticket upon entry to the store, but you can increase your chances of winning by purchasing something. A purchase on the day of the sale will reward you with another raffle ticket and increase your chances of winning.
Every year, our anniversary sale has been a huge success and a highly anticipated event. I want to take a quick couple of lines to thank all our customers for your business.
